The Transfiguration of Jesus An interpretation according to the Derassian method
Main Article Content
Abstract
It analyzes the evangelical account of the Transfiguration of Jesus starting from the hermeneutical mentality of the New Testament Deras, delimiting the literary form of the report of the Transfiguration and identifying the main elements that it entails. Fundamental to the analysis are the understanding of the Transfiguration as a haggadic account of fulfillment and the comparison with intertestamental texts. It seeks to achieve, therefore, the theological meaning of the text to favor its updating.
