About the Journal
Brasiliensis is an academic journal of philosophy and theology, edited by the Centro de Estudos Redemptoris Mater (CERM) of Brasília, published semi-annually since 2012. Its main objective is to disseminate works of academic interest that are consistent with the tradition of Catholic thought and the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.
The journal welcomes a variety of contributions, including research articles, critical notes, essays, bibliographic reviews, and other dissemination manuscripts, such as inaugural lectures of the academic year and conferences.
In 2023, Brasiliensis implemented new editorial policies to strengthen the quality of its publications. Now, only original works are published, and research articles are subjected to double-blind peer review of their content and merit by an external reviewer.
The journal is submitted to the QUALIS evaluation process conducted by CAPES.
The DOI of each work is provided by the ZENODO repository, which allows its inclusion in the OpenAIRE infrastructure database.
Works are published digitally and in print under a CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license (Creative Commons Atribuição - Não Comercial - Sem Derivações 4.0 Internacional).
The author retains copyright of their work, may deposit the published version and other versions of their work in an institutional or other repository of their choice, and allows others to distribute and share it, provided that the author is credited, the use is non-commercial, and the work is not modified.
Brasiliensis does not charge an Article Processing Charge (APC).
