Creationism, evolutionism, Plato's dualism and Thomism concerning the origin of life

Abstract
In an investigation about the origin of life, mapped from consistent scientific theories, the article offers a reading hypothesis that confronts creationism and evolutionism, synthesizing a philosophical itinerary that revisits the Platonic dualism and the Thomist roots of Christian anthropology. Such assumptions illuminate evidence from modern biology, with implications for the genetic horizon that can guide the issue of the latent person in the zygote, as well as the formation and development of the human embryo.
