Epoché and other aspects of Husserlian phenomenology

Abstract
This article presents aspects of Husserl’s phenomenology considering it as original contribution to science, since established itself as innovative method of knowledge and of great heuristic value that seeks to overcome the natural and intuitive knowledge by proposing the intentional action of the subject to capture the object of knowledge, the essence of phenomena. This is done by the epoché, suspension of ingrained thoughts. It includes topics such as transcendence, the pure self, consciousness and experience. It also highlights Husserl’s contribution to the thought of Karol Wojtyla .
