The refutation of relativism
Main Article Content
Abstract
In this article, one of the present´s main philosophers proposes a clear and summarious refutation of the aletical relativism, towards beyond the traditional argument of “self-contradiction”. Searle maintains that a consistent exhibition of relativism, inevitabily leads to a return to the perverse infinite, or to a way of solipsism – because due to the desaspeament, the aletical relativism implies the ontological relativism. In other words, taken to its ultimate consequences, the relativism makes the existence of reality itself dependent of a point of view.
